Bids opened for TCMH expansion project

JE Dunn Construction Co. opened bids last week for Texas County Memorial Hospital’s 59,000 square foot expansion and renovation project.
TCMH officials said several contractors were in attendance at the meeting, including some Texas County-based businesses. Dunn will determine if the bids fully meet the project’s criteria before awarding the bids, which also must also be verified by the USDA before beginning the project.
The bids did not seem to be particularly “out of line” for what was expected, according to Joleen Durham, public relations director at TCMH.
JE Dunn has placed a trailer on TCMH property. Equipment for the project should begin to arrive on site in early July.
